Social Success

Thank you to everyone who attended!

The first social event at West Hartlepool Rugby Club on Sat. 26th April was a big success. It was great to see so many of you there.

We managed to raise an amazing £118 from the raffle. Thanks must go to everyone who donated raffle prizes.

Plans are already underway for the next one so keep a look out for posts on the website. Any ideas are always welcome - just drop us an email!

Club Social Evening

Saturday 26th April 2008 - 7.30pm onwards

The club has arranged a social evening for Saturday April 26th at West Hartlepool Rugby Club. This is the perfect chance for members to come together and check out the new facilities available to us at West. There is no charge and the bar will be available all night (cheap drinks!!) Just make sure you bring some money for a raffle! It would be great to see everyone there to show the club can unite on such an evening!

New Club Meeting Venue from Tuesday 1st April 2008

From Tuesday 1st April, there will be a change of venue for Tuesday and Thursday evening club nights. Senior men and women are to meet (still at 6pm) at West Rugby Club on Catcote Road. This is opposite English Martyrs School close to the entrance road to Summerhill. There is a large car park to the right of the buildings which is for the use of members.

Juniors and track and field are to meet (still at 6pm) at English Martyrs School. There is a car park for our members to use. The training will take place on the school playing fields in the summer and in the sports hall in the winter.

Details of the benefits of this move to club members will be posted at a later date.

It would be appreciated if you would let as many people know as possible.

Lucozade presentation

27th March 2008

There will be a presentation by a representative from Lucozade on Thursday 27th March at West Rugby Club from 5.30pm onwards. There will also be an opportunity to get Hydration and BMI tests done.

Richmond Cross Country

16th March 2008

The final race of the NYSD season featured the club championship. Congratulations to Andrew Minister (Men's club championship), Andy Kelly (club handicap) and Tracey Waller (Ladies' club championship).

The AGM will take place at West Rugby Club on Catcote Road on Wednesday 6th February at 7.30pm.

Next year's subscriptions will be set after discussion at the AGM. An analysis of the club finances to assess what our subscription level needs to be this year has been performed.

Tuesday training - Seaton Carew
