In a massive field of 666, three HBR athletes competed in the race which was won by ex Loftus Runner Stephen Hepples in 53 minutes dead.

First home for the club was Andy Minister in a good time of 58.24, which placed him in an excellent place of 14th. Just over two minutes later, Andy Kelly was next home in 29th position and in 60.36, not too bad considering that he is returning from injury. The final competitor was Paul Wilson who unfortunately suffered from the "Deli Belly".
