The race is from Commondale on the North Yorks Moors and is 5.5 miles long with 600 feet of climbing.  Competing for Burn Road was David Kirk who had a good run in a time of 44.39 which placed him 26th out of a field of 90. 

David was first in the O/55yrs and knocking off 2 minutes off his previous best for the course.  Yet again he had a far better second half than the first half, feeling strong  and clawing back some competitors.
