Six HBR athletes took part in this annual 5 mile trail run at Billingham. In a field of  156 Keith Galbraith was first home for the club in 13th position in an excellent time of 32.58 which placed him second in the O/50 group, he was quickly pursued by Tracy Waller who was 19th in a time of 33.40 and second lady behind Carolyn Summersgill.

Next home was Sarah Black in an excellent time of 40.04 and in 54th position. Sarah was just returning from injury. She was chased home by Steve Armstrong in 81st position in a time of 44.23. Nest home were the pair of Alison Crosby and Mike Hall who ran round together in times of 60.15 and 60.17, finishing in 147th and 148th places respectively.
