Groups 1&2:- Leave High Tunstall, turn right to Elwick Road, down to Stranton Church, turn left along A689, carry on past Hartlepool's ground and down Lancaster Road, turn left up Powlett Road, carry on up Throston Grange Lane, go all the way up and turn left down to Aldi, then turn right back to High Tunstall.
Group 3:- Leave High Tunstall, turn right to Park Road, down to A689 then back the same as groups 1&2.

Sunday 5th

North of England T&F League Match 1, Whitley Bay.

Monday 6th

Tees Barrage 10k - Summer Target Race

Tuesday 7th

All Groups - 500m hard running with 250m jog recovery - as many as possible in 30min.

Thursday 9th

Meet at High Tunstall School - choice of:-
1. Training round school field or track - session to be decided on the night.
2. Cresswell Drive loops and Manor Road hills.  Exact session to be decided on the night.
Summer Trail Series 5k at Cowpen Bewley - Club Target Race.

Tuesday 14th

All Groups - Tempo run between 5 and 8 miles, each group to decide their own route.

Thursday 16th

Summerhill Relays:- Everyone meet at Summerhill, we will be having a relay race round Summerhill - teams to be picked on the night.  It would be great if we can get everyone there.  Each runner to do 1 lap of Summerhill, teams of 4.

Saturday 18th

Summerhill long distance training with Jason Ellis -

50k (31.2 miles / 21.2 laps of Summerhill) Start: 8am

26k (15.6 miles / 10.6 laps) Start: 9-9:30am

10k (6.24 miles / 4.23 laps) Start: 9- 10am

Tuesday 21st

All Groups - Fartlek session, warm up then 40min fartlek run, cool down.

Thursday 23rd

Meet at High Tunstall School - choice of:-
1. Training round school field or track.
2. All groups to do run - along to Worset Lane, up to farm, turn right and head along Dalton back road.  At Dalton turn left across fields towards Summerhill.  At bridge turn left towards Valley Drive and then back to Tunstall school.

Sunday 26th

Summer Target Race - Raby Castle 10k. 

Tuesday 28th

 Beach Run. Group 1:- 3 sets of (4x300m), 100m jog recovery.
                       Group 2:- 3 sets of (3x300m), 100m jog recovery.
                       Group 3:- 4 sets of (2x300m), 100m jog recovery 

Thursday 30th

Meet at High Tunstall School - choice of:-
1. Training round school field or track - session to be decided on the night.
2. Hill session on Worset Lane - 20mins reps for each group.


All Groups must warm up properly.

Sessions start at 6pm with a warm up. Main session starts at approx 6.15pm so please make sure that you are warmed up properly.

Tuesday session will be at Seaton Promenade and Thursday session will be from High Tunstall School.

Each session will be split into three manageable groups with coaches and leaders taking their respective groups.

These sessions are not set in tablets of stone, though it is suggested that all participate in them to some degree, even if the number or the length is reduced. Please attempt to assist each other by participating alongside other members with compatible ability or in similar groups of three’s and four’s.

All Groups - Fartlek session, warm up then 40min fartlek run, cool down.
Groups 1&2 - along black path to lagoon car park, left to Tees Road, and loop round and back 7 miles.
Group 3 - along front to black path, to lagoon car park and return back 5 miles.

Thursday 4th

All Groups:- Cresswell Drive loop and Manor Road hill.  10mins run before and after.
Group 1&2:- 3 loops / 2 hills x 2
Group 3:- 2 loops / 2 hills x 2

Sunday 7th

Marina 5 Road Race

Tuesday 9th

All Groups - Tempo run but only easy run for those who did Marina 5.

Thursday 11th

All Groups:- Warm up with 15min run to Summerhill and 15min warm down back.......from High Tunstall School.
Groups 1&2:- 6 x Summerhill 'S' bank
Group 3:- 4 x Summerhill 'S' bank to bollards

Tuesday 16th

Choice of either:-
1. Lamppost session, something alng the lines of 2/1 3/2 4/2 repeats.
2. NYSD Track & Field meeting at Clairville Stadium Middlesbrough.  Men and women can compete at Track - 100m, 400m and 3,000m.
Field events  - Hammer, Pole Vault, Long Jump and Shot.
Details of tiimes will be given out at training.

Thursday 18th

All groups to do fast strides in Ward Jackson Park.
Group 1:- to do 5/6 laps
Groups 2&3:- to do 4 laps
Strides to be done down each side and jog recovery along top and bottom....
Those doing London Marathon can do steady run of approx 6 miles.

Sunday 21st

Target Race - London Marathon. 

Tuesday 23rd

Group 1 - 6 x 1k with 2min walk / jog recovery to be run at 5k race pace.

Groups 2&3 - As many 1k's as possible in 35min with same recovery.

Thursday 25th

All Groups - Meet at High Tunstall School, run from Tunstall to Summerhill.

Groups 1&2 - 3 laps of Summerhill, working hard on the hills.

Group 3 - 2 laps, working hard on the hills.

Sunday 28th

Target Race - Sunderland 10k. 
Target Race - Sunderland Marathon of the North. 

Tuesday 30th

Session 1 Steady run.
Session 2 Beach Run. Group 1:- 3 sets of (4x300m), 100m jog recovery.
                                          Group 2:- 3 sets of (3x300m), 100m jog recovery.
                                          Group 3:- 4 sets of (2x300m), 100m jog recovery.
