Tracey Waller wins Flatts Lane XC

Congratulations to Tracey Waller who notched-up her first win of the NYSD season on a long, tough course at Flatts Lane county park. Tracey finished the first lap in second place, on the shoulder of the leader, but drew away on the second lap to win by half a minute.

The Ladies finished in 6th place overall with Lisa Button in 23rd and Lesley Strickland 31st.

In the Men's race Ross Garforth repeated his strong performance in the National relays by being the first Burn Road finisher in 12th place. Also scoring points were Mark Armstrong (20th), Andy Kelly (31st), Simon Jones (36th), Karl Edwards (39th) and Tom Button (53rd). These were followed by Geoff Gardner (84th), Peter Johnson (93rd), Mike Hall (96th) and Stephen Armstrong (105th). The Men's team were placed 4th overall.
